Katie has over two decades of elite golf experience, blending a standout competitive career with a deep passion for instruction. A former touring professional, Katie competed in multiple LPGA events, including the U.S. Women’s Open and Women’s British Open, and spent seven years competing around the globe. Including the  Ladies European Tour and Ladies Asian Golf Tour.  

A two-time Minnesota Women’s Open Champion and University of Minnesota alumna, Katie now focuses on helping golfers of all levels improve their game. With 15+ years of experience as a PGA & LPGA Class A Teaching Professional, she has taught hundreds of junior golfers, beginners, and competitive players, delivering expert instruction in full swing, short game, putting, and on-course strategy.  

Katie’s coaching style is patient, encouraging, and rooted in the fundamentals of solid technique and game awareness. Whether you’re a new golfer or looking to elevate your skills.

With over 11 years of coaching experience and a passion for developing athletes, Jackie Johnson is a highly accomplished PGA Head Professional and Certified Level 4 Master Fitter at 2nd Swing. 

Specializing in fitting golfers with the perfect equipment for their game, Jackie is certified in all major golf manufacturers and brings expert-level insight to every fitting session.

In addition to Jackie's role as a Master Fitter, she has a wealth of coaching experience at the high school level, having served over 8 years coaching golf and hockey. Her leadership was recognized in 2017 when she was named Coach of the Year for her section in high school hockey.

Jackie also runs and owns her golf academy called Be Elite Golf Academy in Plymouth, MN. She has over 80+ current students that work with her of all skill ranges. From collegiate golfers to beginners, Jackie can help your game!

Jackie played Division I golf at North Dakota State University (NDSU) and was also a competitive hockey player at the collegiate level, where her athletic background enriches her coaching philosophy.

With a comprehensive understanding of both golf as a sport and the equipment, Jackie is dedicated to helping individuals reach their full potential, whether it's on the course or in her fitting bay.
