About Abby

Born and raised in the Summit Hill neighborhood of Saint Paul, Abby is a true Minnesotan at heart. She experienced golf briefly in high school but didn’t quite connect with it until her mid-20s. After spending time working in tech sales and getting more involved with her dad’s business, Great Places Minnesota, Abby found herself drawn back to the game. That renewed passion has only grown since.

In 2022, Abby joined a few local women’s golf clubs and loved the camaraderie—but noticed a larger gap. Opportunities for women were often scattered, hard to find, or not beginner-friendly. That insight sparked something bigger. In March 2024, she founded Northern Greens, a welcoming, inclusive golf collective created to make it easier for women of all skill levels to connect, play, and grow together. What began with a few group tee times quickly grew into a vibrant community rooted in encouragement, consistency, and the shared joy of the game.

Outside of golf, Abby is deeply involved with causes she's passionate about, like the Angel Foundation of Minnesota, which supports adults facing cancer and their families. She's also a seasoned traveler, always chasing new experiences—from iconic destinations like Table Mountain in Cape Town to tucked-away local gems. When she’s not on the move, Abby’s all about balance: yoga sessions, Bravo marathons, and moments of stillness that keep her grounded in a fast-moving world.
