Volunteer with us at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship!

Clubhouse Social Hours

I’m excited to share a special volunteer opportunity with you all! I recently connected with the Championship Director for the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, and they would be thrilled to have Northern Greens marshal a hole during the tournament at Hazeltine National Golf Club.

Event Dates: June 25–28, 2026
Location: Hazeltine National Golf Club
Northern Greens Role: Hole Marshals
Volunteer Goal: Approximately 25 Northern Greens volunteers

This is an incredible chance to be part of a major championship, support women’s golf at the highest level, and represent Northern Greens on a national stage. To make this happen, we’re aiming to rally around 25 volunteers to staff and support our assigned hole throughout the Championship.

What Does “Marshalling a Hole” Mean?

As hole marshals, Northern Greens volunteers would be assigned to a specific hole on the course and play a key role in supporting tournament operations and the spectator experience. Responsibilities typically include:

  • Assisting with crowd control and safety
  • Helping maintain quiet and order during player shots
  • Directing spectators on where they can stand or walk
  • Communicating with on-course officials as needed
  • Serving as friendly, visible ambassadors for the Championship

It’s a front-row seat to championship golf and a fun, social way to volunteer alongside fellow Northern Greens members.

Volunteer Commitment (per the Championship website)

  • Eligibility: Adults ages 22+ as of June 25, 2026
  • Time Commitment:
    • 3–4 shifts total
    • Approximately 16–20 volunteer hours
  • Volunteers will serve as PGA Ambassadors, offering assistance to guests during any unscheduled time.

Volunteer Access & Credentials

All volunteers will receive full access to the Championship grounds for the duration of the 2026 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in order to complete scheduled shifts and act as PGA Ambassadors during unscheduled times.

Each volunteer will be issued a personalized, non-transferable Volunteer Credential, which provides access to the grounds all days of the Championship.

  • Your credential must be visible and worn at all times while attending the event.
  • Volunteers are asked to wear their official volunteer headwear item anytime they are on the premises, whether on or off shift, to remain easily identifiable to spectators and guests who may need assistance.

Volunteer Package

Volunteers are required to pay a $140 volunteer package fee (plus applicable tax & fees). In exchange, volunteers receive:

  • Official Volunteer Uniform (1 golf shirt, pullover, and headwear item)
  • Meal vouchers
  • Official PGA Volunteer drawstring bag & pin
  • Complimentary parking

If you’re interested in volunteering and helping Northern Greens represent at this major championship, please complete the interest form linked below:

I’ll be coordinating closely with the Championship team and will share additional details as they become available. This is a truly unique opportunity, and I’d love to see Northern Greens show up in a big way at Hazeltine.

As always, feel free to reach out with any questions.

Cheers,

Abby Swenson
